Olive in the Queen Ending

Description[]

A coach from the castle comes to the house to pick up Olive, much to her surprise. When she arrives at the castle, the King tells her that he has grown too old for his position and must retire. Since the Prince has very little experience, the King decides to hand the throne over to Olive. The Prime Minister is not supportive, but the Queen has faith in Olive. Ruling Queen Ending (Refine)

Other Information[]

  • This is one of the hardest endings to get
  • The better your daughter's Morals, the better queen she will be. To be a magnificently good queen, her morality should be more than 500.
  • Be sure not to have Art as your highest stat or else you will get an art ending.
  • Don't make much use of the Tree Elf if you want this ending, it permanently lowers your maximum Combat Skill and limits your achievable Fighter Reputation.
  • When you get challenged to duels, be wary of the increase in your highest combat reputation as it may push it more than 50 above the others.
  • If you need to reduce your highest combat reputation to bring it back within range of the other reputations, enter and exit the market screen repeatedly until you get challenged to a duel and decline it to lose reputation. This can be repeated as many times as you want and doesn't take up game time.
  • If you're going for this ending, try to win the Dance Party at the Harvest Festival as many times as possible. It gives you +40 Social Reputation which is difficult to raise, and the Lady's Ring that gives +25 Refinement. Winning the Art Contest will give you +30 but also gives you the Master Brush which gives +50 Art and if you sell the brush you get -50 Social Reputation.
  • You can have cooking as your highest stat, but not art.
  • If your Art level is too high for this ending, you can raise your Cooking level rapidly to make it your highest by using the faeries in the Eastern Forest. You can gain around 60 cooking level in one month with three trips there.
  • Her sin must be BELOW 500 or she becomes... another queen.
  • The picture is a homage to Jean Ingres' painting Napoleon I on his Imperial Throne .
  • It's also possible to get this ending and marry the prince of the kingdom if the Daughter qualifies for both. If the prince is the choosen husband, the epilogue will automatically skipped, focusing instead on their reunion.
