The Cat's Eye gem, worth 600 G, is an important jewel to the Wildcats. On its own it is useless.
How to Obtain[]
Cat's Eye gems are sometimes carried by Wildcats you meet in the Eastern Forest. If you kill one carrying a Cat's Eye you can confiscate it.
Uses[]
- If you are low on money you can sell it for half the price its worth.
- If you possess one you can meet Ket Shi the cat fairy. Using his magic powers he will reward you if you return it to the Wildcats through him.
Recommendation[]
This is only worthwhile if you plan to meet Ket Shi and trade with him. Wildcats are easy to defeat, but they drop very low amounts of money which makes them normally unsuited for farming. 300 G is not a lot of money, so it's not a reliable money maker either.
Trading with Ket Shi makes him alter your height or lower your weight. There are better ways to lower weight, but raising height raises the weight threshold, so Olive can afford to delay beach vacations for a while longer and save a bit more time. Though to get the most out of this you should be doing more on the scheduled adventure besides meeting him.
If you do plan to trade, make sure you keep only one of these while meeting him. Bringing more will make him take all of them without boosting his effects, so it's a waste of items.
Obviously, this is not something you should go out of your way to get.
